Responsibilities
Operate and monitor stringer machinery to ensure proper function, throughput, and quality
Load materials and visually inspect solar cells for defects or deviations
Use HMIs and NC interfaces for machine control, diagnostics, and basic troubleshooting
Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and component inspection
Identify and communicate machine issues to maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Accurately record hourly production and performance data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and corrective actions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Support training and onboarding of new operators
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or certification preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience in a production or automated manufacturing environment
Proficiency with HMI-controlled and NC machinery
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and communication skills
Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Able to stand, walk, and work on feet for 8+ hours
Preferred
Technical diploma or certification preferred
Familiarity with pneumatic and electrical systems a plus
