They are seeking a Risk Strategist to develop a new Risk & PnL engine within their Commodity Trading & Risk Management system, collaborating with teams in Houston and London to deploy and enhance the system for their Americas business.

Responsibilities

Deploy: Roll-out of the new Risk & PnL engine to our Americas business (trading desks & risk management teams) – be the team’s ambassador in Houston, closely collaborating both with the business and other tech teams
Team-up: Liaise and work with the rest of the new Risk & PnL engine Dev team in London on any development needed by the Americas business
Develop: Leverage core components of the new Risk & PnL engine, and other parts of the CTRM to develop reports, tools and functionalities required by the business

Required

C++ Development: 3+ years developing at enterprise-level. Demonstrated experience in the development of robust, maintainable and extensible code
Python: Some enterprise-level experience
Experience working in front office risk applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full proficiency in English
Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently as well as in a team. Exemplary work ethics
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in a technical field

Preferred

Experience with derivative risk concepts including option pricing and Greek risk measures
Energy markets experience
