Responsibilities

Low-level simulation of scatter and sensor phenomenology to generate synthetic data for algorithm testing
Algorithm prototyping in python, Matlab, and/or C++
Working closely with real-time and high-performance software/firmware engineers to port prototypes to flight hardware
High-level simulation of payload performance to support payload design and compliance analysis
Experience with coherent wave sensing and the associated physics (electromagnetics, optics, and/or acoustics)
Statistical signal processing expertise
Proficiency in computer programming for research purposes
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Required

An advanced degree in a STEM field (physics, engineering, mathematics, or computer science)
Low-level simulation of scatter and sensor phenomenology to generate synthetic data for algorithm testing
Algorithm prototyping in python, Matlab, and/or C++
Working closely with real-time and high-performance software/firmware engineers to port prototypes to flight hardware
High-level simulation of payload performance to support payload design and compliance analysis

Experience with synthetic aperture and moving target indication radar
Experience with active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs)
