This role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business prospects while working cross-functionally to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets across commercial, enterprise, and SLED segments
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads aligned with Aspire’s Managed Services growth strategy
Leverage CRM, channel leads, and vendor ecosystems to source and track opportunities
Partner with Aspire Account Managers to position, shape, and close Managed Services opportunities
Act as a subject-matter expert for Aspire’s Managed NOC, Managed XDR, and related managed services offerings
Serve as a trusted advisor during client engagements, framing Aspire’s managed services as extensions of their IT and security operations
Support sales in both directions — helping Account Managers close opportunities they’ve uncovered and handing off qualified leads generated through business development efforts
Conduct discovery meetings with prospects to understand client needs, challenges, and business outcomes
Present Managed Services solutions in a consultative, value-driven manner
Build executive-level relationships to position Aspire as a long-term strategic partner
Build and nurture relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and channel partners
Drive Aspire’s positioning as one of only seven approved Cisco Managed XDR MSSP partners in North America
Collaborate with Cisco account teams to jointly identify, pursue, and expand Managed XDR opportunities
Expand channel partnerships with key security vendors such as Darktrace, SentinelOne, Fortinet, and LookOut, leveraging their co-marketing and sales enablement programs
Ensure Aspire is maximally positioned for incentives, funding programs, and co-selling motions
Collaborate with technical, delivery, and sales teams to craft customized proposals and statements of work
Assist in pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and value articulation to ensure profitability and client alignment
Ensure all proposals reflect Aspire’s differentiated value and managed service capabilities
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in Managed Services, Cloud, and Cybersecurity
Provide structured feedback to operations, marketing, and leadership teams to refine Aspire’s offerings
Act as Aspire’s evangelist at partner events, webinars, and internal sales enablement sessions
Educate internal sales teams to confidently position Managed Services as a core part of Aspire’s value proposition
Identify opportunities to scale Aspire’s Managed Services offerings across verticals and new markets
Influence Aspire’s managed services roadmap through partner and customer insights
Track, report, and forecast Managed Services growth metrics to leadership with accuracy and accountability

Required

6–10 years of experience in technology services, managed services, or channel-focused business development roles
Deep knowledge of Managed Services models (NOC, SOC, XDR, and Collaboration)

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree Required
Familiarity with Cisco ecosystem and leading security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Darktrace, SentinelOne, EDR, and SIEM
Proven success partnering with Account Managers and vendors to drive co-selling and managed services adoption
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and uncover strategic pain points
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a scaling, fast-paced environment
