Responsibilities

Provide expert technical consultancy, lead tasks and support technical deliverables throughout the project system's lifecycle to ensure project deliverables align with client expectations, industry standards and regulations
Act as a subject matter expert for SCADA engineering with a focus on system implementation, providing specialized knowledge to project teams
Lead tasks in the development of supplier proposals, studies, quantitative analyses, and technical workshops, ensure on-time, on-budget completion and adherence to scope and quality resulting in the highest level of client satisfaction
Participate in technical evaluations and negotiations; represent the client in vendor meetings and design reviews
Support supplier evaluations, RFIs/RFPs, and technical clarifications; participate in workshops and design audits
Develop the Concept of Operations and technical scope; draft specifications/SOW and interface requirements
Define SCADA system architecture and configurations
Contribute to interface management (CBTC, traction power, OCC/HMI, tunnel ventilation, station subsystems, and other wayside equipment)
Oversee FAT/SAT/field tests; support cutover planning, staging and rollback strategies for live environments
Support RAMS and cybersecurity activities
Participate in site surveys
Support project proposals with subject matter expertise
Mentor and educate consultants and engineers on SCADA systems, promoting skills development, professional growth, and knowledge sharing within the team

Required

A bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Sc.)
At least 6 years of related experience in consulting/engineering for railway projects; experience with CBTC and platform screen door systems is a plus
At least 8 years of related experience in SCADA systems and experience in one or more other rail systems
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, applicable regulations and safety requirements
Programming skills related to SCADA such as PLC programming, HMI design programming and communication programming
Expertise in supporting the development of technical specifications and technical proposals
Passion for tackling complex challenges in mobility and railway transportation sector
Demonstrable technical experience, including the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Business-focused attitude
Resilient, flexible, independent and well-structured working approach
Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Experience in using MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills
Occasional domestic / international travel may be required
