Responsibilities
Fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a Lean environment
Coordinating with other Supervisors to build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work volume forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering to balance labor across the facility
Communicating policies to associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when required
Performing root cause analysis using the problem-solving process and 5 Why’s to develop a logical solution
Providing performance feedback and development opportunities to direct reports. This should be done by holding monthly 1 on 1 meetings with associates using the Danaher standard form
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma with 8+ yrs experience, Bachelors with 5+yrs, or Masters with 3+ yrs experience
2+ years experience leading a team in a warehouse environment
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Oracle
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications
Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Experience
Preferred
Experienced & qualified to thrive in an ambiguous environment with little support or guidance
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to motivate and develop associates
