OFFICE AUTOMATION CLERK NF-2
Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! The Office Automation Clerk will provide world-class customer service, assist customers, and manage various clerical tasks including correspondence and budget tracking. This role requires proficiency in operating a personal computer and maintaining filing systems, while adhering to safety regulations and EEO principles.

Responsibilities
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy
Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner
Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact
Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems
Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services
Takes action to solve problems quickly
Alerts the higher level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise
Operates a personal computer (PC) and peripheral equipment to produce a variety of civilian and military correspondence, spreadsheets, charts, reports and graphs, using a wide variety of software programs
Transmits and receives documents and messages electronically using PC network or links to other computers
Proofreads all prepared correspondence and checks for completeness and conformance to applicable instructions and regulations
Operates PC using graphics applications to produce various graphic materials as required
Answers phone calls, responds to emails and prepares documents
Performs accounting tasks, including invoicing and budget tracking
Submits timely reports and prepares presentations/proposals as assigned
Maintains computer and manual filing systems as required
Adheres to safety regulations and standards
Uses required safety equipment, and observes safe work procedures
Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
Qualification
Required
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the operation of a personal computer and related office equipment
Knowledge of a variety of integrated software programs
Knowledge of general clerical procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
