Responsibilities

Develop, Maintain and Manage contact with independent sales representatives
Lead the development and execution of territory pipelines for prospective and existing customers’ opportunities to meet Sales goals
Measure wins, losses and capture rates of territory pipeline
Plan and coordinate sales enablement initiatives
Set sales goals and profitability targets and identify the leading metrics to track progress
Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of overall objectives
Collaborate interdepartmentally to manage customer accounts and track progress of customer orders
Collaborate with internal departments, to recommend new products, programs, process improvement, and coordinate sales initiatives
Identify and recommend new product opportunities based on identified market opportunities
Develop and implement new strategies for customer-focused service changes to deliver increased value
Monitor customer and competitive trends in the assigned region and report quarterly
Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships
Update industry knowledge by participating in associations, educational opportunities, and maintaining personal networks
Provide a territory sales forecast on a monthly/quarterly basis as defined by leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field required
3-5 years' experience in industrial enclosed gearing markets required
Outside sales experience required
All applicants should reside near a major airport and be able to travel up to 60% of the time

Preferred

Experience in food, beverage markets preferred
Experience managing both OEM and distribution channels
