Commercial HVAC Installer - Four Star Mechanical

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems for commercial construction

Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machines

Installation of sheet metal duct and HVAC equipment

Set/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, experience installing duct systems is preferred

Layout and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram

Ensure customer satisfaction

Required

Minimum High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Must have an honest and dependable personality

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipment

Self-motivated individual with strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team

Possession of valid driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong ability to write and read in English language

Ability to lift items that weigh up to 100lbs safely

Strong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions for long periods of time

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites

Preferred

EPA certification a plus

Experience installing duct systems is preferred
