Invictus Strategy & Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing strategic workforce solutions. They are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to develop and maintain Big Data cloud systems that support national security objectives through data processing and analytics.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud based ingest processing and indexing pipelines
Implement complex workflows that manage MapReduce analytics and integrate coordination frameworks
Build services that interact with cloud big table and distributed file systems for reliable scalable delivery
Lead development tasks ensure quality control and recommend process improvements

Required

Eight years of software engineering experience including two years with Big Data cloud or distributed computing
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or four additional years of cloud software engineering experience in lieu of degree
Experience with YARN MapReduce Zookeeper HDFS HBase REST services and concurrent programming
Experience ingesting and parsing XML JSON CSV binary formats or Avro
Object oriented Java development with Maven and an IDE such as Eclipse
Scripting and multi node installation with Python Bash Ruby or similar
Experience securing distributed applications using firewalls PKI and corporate authentication
Linux administration and configuration management experience with preference for SIGINT or geolocation domain exposure
