Responsibilities
Oversees facility-wide quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management programs. Drives standardization of processes, evaluates success using established metrics, and ensures alignment with strategic goals
Creates and updates the Quality Improvement Plan, policies, and objectives to meet federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures continuous regulatory readiness and adherence to accreditation standards
Partners with facility leadership, physicians, and corporate entities to implement strategic quality initiatives. Facilitates communication and promotes a culture of safety, transparency, and care excellence across all service lines
Directs departmental activities including staff selection, retention, education, and productivity. Oversees budget management, software systems for reporting, and ensures accurate quality data for internal and external requirements
Performs ongoing analysis of quality and risk performance data, identifies trends, and recommends process and system changes to improve healthcare value and outcomes
Serves as an internal consultant and educator on performance improvement tools, safety science, and statistical methods. Leads Quality Committee activities and participates in peer review to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes
Qualification
Required
4 year Bachelor Degree
More than 5 years of experience
RN State License
