Group Product Manager, Growth (Superhuman Mail)
Grammarly, through its Superhuman Mail division, is focused on creating the fastest email experience in the world. The Group Product Manager for Growth will be responsible for enhancing user acquisition through optimization strategies, building referral incentives, and developing high-impact website experiments, while leading a team to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize improvements across the acquisition journey, including website optimization, SEO, signup flows (individual + team), onboarding, activation, and referral loops
Strengthen virality by building referral incentives, shareable AI outputs, and other lightweight loops that attract new users organically
Develop high-impact website experiments (messaging, IA, funnels, CRO) that increase visit-to-signup conversion rates
Partner with Brand, Product, and Demand Gen to ensure consistent storytelling and unified acquisition messaging across all surfaces
Design fast, intuitive onboarding flows that guide new users to their first “aha” moment within minutes
Create AI-powered activation experiences (e.g., auto drafts, personalized splits and labels, etc.) that immediately showcase differentiated value
Build contextual in-product guidance, tooltips, nudges, checklists, and walkthroughs that help users complete key activation steps with minimal friction
Run rapid A/B tests on onboarding, feature education, and value prompts to improve activation conversion rates across segments
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to streamline setup, reduce cognitive load, and remove blockers that delay new users from experiencing core AI features
Build intuitive pathways for individuals to form teams, including seamless teammate invites, shared workflows, and contextual prompts that highlight the value of collaborating in Superhuman Mail
Design team onboarding and activation experiences that help new teams quickly adopt collaboration features and team’s based content and workflows
Launch expansion-focused nudges and lifecycle programs that surface the right value at the right time, encouraging teams to add teammates and activate dormant seats
Develop team-level product-qualified account (PQA) signals based on usage patterns, collaboration intensity, and admin behavior to identify high-intent expansion opportunities
Run targeted experiments on team growth levers, including team invites, admin prompts, collaborative AI features, and upgrade surfaces, to increase seat expansion and overall team size
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to build seamless PLG → PLS handoffs, ensuring high-intent teams graduate into larger team and enterprise plans
Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of growth product managers, engineers, and marketers to achieve ambitious growth objectives
Foster a high-performance, experimentation-friendly culture that supports rapid iteration and continuous improvement
Collaborate with peer marketing and product leaders across Superhuman Mail, Grammarly, and Coda to ensure alignment on growth strategy and execution
Lead the organization with clear prioritization, communication, and a commitment to Superhuman’s values
Qualification
Required
You have 10+ total years of experience in Growth and at least 5 years of Growth Product experience at a B2B PLG SaaS startup

Hybrid Business Model Expertise: Navigate and optimize the B2C2B funnels where individual users evolve into team and enterprise accounts
Revenue Growth Optimization: Drive monetization strategies, including upsell, cross-sell, and expansion initiatives
Product Sense: Identify high-impact opportunities and translate user insights into effective solutions through pattern recognition, testable hypotheses, and elegant product experiences that balance user and business needs
Roadmap Development: Craft and execute growth roadmaps that balance high-impact initiatives with rapid experimentation
Growth Mindset: Identify growth opportunities across the customer lifecycle and prioritize initiatives that drive measurable impact
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in analyzing data to inform strategies and set clear, actionable goals
Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing growth product and marketing team
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with GTM, product, and engineering teams to align goals and strategies
Communication Skills: Clearly articulate campaign strategies, goals, and outcomes to stakeholders
