Responsibilities

Research, analyze, build and share various actuarial concepts and models with department leaders and teams within Safety National

Learn to apply coursework in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business and Risk Management to real world business questions and problems

Work effectively with others, use resources and work across an entire enterprise

Be assigned models for review, care and feeding or given opportunities to partner on development of new models

Required

Graduate or currently enrolled student in an Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar program

60 or more credit hours complete with an expected graduation date no later than May of 2027

Foundational understanding of actuarial models, insurance industry principles, and risk management

Proficiency in advanced mathematics including, calculus and discrete distributions

Capable of clearly articulating complex topics to a wide variety of audiences

Ability to work on-site at our headquarters located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO 63146

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
