Director, General Accounting
Preferred Travel Group is seeking a Director of General Accounting to oversee operational accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and global banking. This role involves managing the accounting department, ensuring timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Oversee the activities of the general accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance
Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data
Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his/her financial needs
Oversee administration of global bank accounts and corporate credit card program
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
Lead and manage accounting, global banking, reporting, disbursements and payroll staff, and function as back-up to these roles
Work with our tax partners (Grant Thornton) to assure corporate income tax compliance
Supervise all financial reporting and audit functions
Provide timely monthly financial statement package to Executive Management
Manage the annual external audit, including audit for PHG China entity
Prepare the annual financial report and related disclosures
401K benefit administration, audit, financial statement and filing
Corporate shareholder information, dividends and related tax reporting
Manage the process for Purchase Requisitions
Tradeshows, Road shows, Events & Meetings (TREM)

Qualification
Required
completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting
10 plus years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
CPA is required

Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains 2018 or Business Central experience
