Responsibilities

Lead the Viewer Brain program — Align Search, Recommendations, Voice, Experimentation, Knowledge Graph, Tooling, and Content Understanding to a single platform vision with shared milestones and guardrails
Operationalize Strategic Initiatives — Stand up cross-functional (XFN) workstreams; own OKRs, dependency maps, and exec-ready status
Run Continuous & Quarterly Planning — Drive quarterly/release planning and ongoing replans across the Viewer Platform and Roku-wide dependencies
Forecast Capacity Early — Track expected resource utilization ahead of each quarter and flag gaps across Eng, XFN PMs, Business areas, UX, Analytics, and International
Manage Dependencies — Track and unblock cross-team dependencies for high-value initiatives; escalate decisively when needed
Manage High-Impact Analytics Backlog — Help analytics prioritize work that is deeply insightful and highlights trends beyond general AB testing (e.g., long-term holdouts, industry benchmarks)
Steward the Continuous Planning Process — Partner with PMs to ensure rigor from intake → definition → execution → launch along with a traceable framework
Publish Roadmaps — Share in-progress, upcoming, and 1–2 year views; link to big bets, deprecations, and supporting insights (Analytics/UXR)
Drive Alignment & Ownership — Enforce RACI style clarity; ensure healthy scope/ownership boundaries between product areas
Report Progress Crisply — Host Quarterly Product Area reviews with key leaders and XFN partners, share roadmaps, and provide data-informed updates on impact, risks, and mitigations
Surface Data-Backed Trade-Offs — Present clear options, impacts, and recommendations to leadership

Qualification

Required

6+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Operations, or Technical Program Management in consumer tech, AI/ML, or platform organizations
Proven success managing cross-functional initiatives that span product, data, and engineering teams
Experience driving AI/ML or platform-scale transformations or programs
Deep understanding of product and business operations, including goal setting, KPI design, and roadmap governance
Strong communication and influencing skills — you can simplify complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and present to executives with clarity and confidence
Comfort with ambiguity, iteration, and scaling systems in fast-paced environments
Expertise with Jira, Confluence, and analytics dashboards is a plus
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
