Global Head of FP&A
Canva is redefining how the world experiences design and is seeking an exceptional Global Head of FP&A to lead their finance team. This role involves driving strategy and business insight, managing financial planning and analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Canva's growth objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead and inspire: Manage and mentor a high-performing global FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Strategic financial planning: Develop and oversee the annual budget, long-range financial plans, and forecasting processes, aligning financial strategy with Canva's ambitious growth objectives
Financial management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze financial results, and provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Business partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales) to provide financial expertise and support strategic decision-making
Investment analysis: Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, providing rigorous financial modeling and recommendations
Drive efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function
Executive communication: Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations to the executive team and the Board of Directors
Systems and tools: Scale financial systems and processes with a focus on automation and AI-driven insights
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a senior finance leader within a global, high-growth technology company
Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling techniques
A strong command of SaaS metrics: ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and influence business strategy
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Experience building and leading high-performing teams in a global, fast-paced environment
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, and AI-driven technology)
