Lockheed Martin is a leading technology innovation company, and they are seeking a Software Engineer to work on the development of avionics products. The role involves designing and developing mission-critical Avionics subsystems for the Fleet Ballistic Missile program, covering all phases of the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities
Join the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system
Design and develop mission critical Avionics subsystems for the FBM program
Incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience
Previous C++ or python development/test experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and thus a US Citizen
Preferred
Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based)
Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers
Understanding of missile or satellite software systems
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent team orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers
