Sales Development Representative

Millennium Alliance is a hyper growth company looking for a Sales Development Representative to support their event sponsorship sales team. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and maintaining engagement with potential clients to aid in the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential B2B clients in industries that align with the company’s event offerings (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance, etc.)
Qualify leads based on specific criteria such as company size, industry, decision-making authority, and event needs to determine the likelihood of converting to a paying client
Prospect new sales leads through a mixture of calling and emailing
Connect with and quickly develop relationships with key Senior Management contacts and prospects within the technology vendor space
Build a pipeline and execute on early stages of the sales process
Follow up with leads and prospects over time, maintaining engagement through timely outreach and providing them with relevant content that moves them further along the sales funnel
Following up on sales led campaigns as well as self-generated prospect lists
Use various sales tools and methods to identify decision makers within the target account lists
High outbound call volume along with running mass email campaigns
Schedule meetings for the Sponsorship Sales Account Executives
Understand Millennium’s offerings and effectively communicate and apply them to each prospect’s needs
Continuously research the events industry and prospective clients to stay updated on key developments, market needs, and competitive trends
Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of qualified leads, meetings booked, conversion rates, and outreach effectiveness
Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives

Required

Some business development or professional sales development experience
Self-starter with real determination and grit to make opportunities a reality
Experience with prospecting and cold calling
Confident, patient, and thoughtful communicator both on the phone and email
Motivated and goal oriented with a self-starting attitude
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Open to coaching and mentoring
Good time management with strong organizational skills
Excited by the prospect of building a successful sales career as you exceed targets
Understanding that failure is a part of every success
