The Panel Integration Technician is responsible for the installation and integration of electrical components within control panels and other equipment, ensuring proper assembly and functionality of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Install pushbuttons, pilot and control devices, instruments, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, transformers, and similar components

Install bus bars in panels and switchgear, including:

Insulating tubing, boots, and sleeving

Tape or roll-applied insulation

Insulators and supports

Perform bolting and securing of components

Make necessary corrections for minor fabrication errors, including:

Redrilling

Tapping

Filing

Cutting

Perform panel installation and bonding

Prepare, run, and terminate conductors

Install cable tray systems

Mount and/or wire:

Lights

Strut

Tray

AC/DC distribution panels

Battery chargers

Switches

Conduit

Complete any other electrical tasks related to equipment enclosures

Perform touch-up painting as required
