Employee Benefits Associate Attorney - Health and Welfare (Raleigh, NC / Other)
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate Attorney with at least 3+ years of experience working with health and welfare plans to work with the firm’s Employee Benefits & Tax Team. The role involves advising clients on compliance with various laws impacting health and welfare plans and reviewing vendor agreements.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Advising clients regarding a wide range of issues impacting health and welfare plans, including compliance with the ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and other applicable laws
Reviewing third party administrator and other vendor agreements
Advising regarding HIPAA privacy issues
Qualification
Required
At least 3+ years of experience working with health and welfare plans
Strong analytic, writing and verbal skills
Strong academic credentials
Experience advising clients regarding a wide range of issues impacting health and welfare plans, including compliance with the ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and other applicable laws
Experience reviewing third party administrator and other vendor agreements
Experience advising regarding HIPAA privacy issues
Preferred
An LL.M. in Employee Benefits
