Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for all company positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement for both hourly and salaried roles
Administer and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the recruitment process
Coordinate job postings across internal and external platforms, including career websites, college/university boards, and print publications
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, staffing firms, and other talent pipelines
Develop and implement streamlined recruiting processes and practices to improve efficiency and candidate experience
Foster clear communication between hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment cycle
Educate and support employees and managers on recruiting procedures, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the HR team to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals and compliance requirements
Travel to plant locations or off-site venues for recruiting events, job fairs, and career expos
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of open positions and hiring needs, working with hiring managers and external firms to secure qualified candidates at the most competitive rates
Draft and review offer letters to ensure consistency with company policy and alignment with market standards
Source candidates using a variety of tools, including databases, social media, job boards, and proactive cold outreach
Conduct screening interviews, verify references and background checks, and assess candidate qualifications
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and facilitate a smooth transition into the company
Track and analyze recruitment metrics, preparing reports on key indicators such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness
Identify trends, inefficiencies, or concerns in the recruitment process and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations related to hiring and equal opportunity
Represent the company professionally at internal and external recruiting functions
Support other HR initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of two to three years of related experience
Proficiency in using ATS platforms, recruiting tools, and social media for sourcing candidates
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or other job-related material
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
Ability to graphically display charts or other representative materials to evaluate and measure program success
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc
Must possess a valid driver's license for business travel
