Senior Engineering Manager, Continuous Build & Integration

As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Continuous Build & Integration organization, you will lead teams that develop platforms and pipelines to enhance developer productivity and software delivery for in-vehicle systems. This role focuses on improving engineering outcomes and mentoring technical teams while aligning with business goals.

Responsibilities
Lead an engineering organization responsible for core developer workflows, CI/CD, and integration of in‑vehicle software components, with clear SLOs/SLIs and incident response practices
Elevate developer experience by reducing build times, increasing repeatability, improving observability, and streamlining onboarding and tooling ergonomics
Define and execute the technical roadmap for integrating in‑vehicle software, aligning with component owners and partner teams
Mentor managers and senior ICs; establish clear goals, measurable outcomes, and growth paths while fostering a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Communicate strategy, investment tradeoffs, and outcomes to technical and executive stakeholders; ensure clarity of vision, measurable results (e.g., lead time, change failure rate, MTTR), and dependable execution
Qualification
Required
10+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams (managing managers and/or multi‑team charters)
Strong technical depth in modern build and delivery disciplines (e.g., hermetic/reproducible builds, artifact provenance, policy enforcement, supply chain security)
Proven track record of improving engineering outcomes at scale (e.g., reducing failure rates and MTTR, increasing release frequency and predictability, raising developer satisfaction)
Experience operating in multi‑cloud or hybrid environments with a focus on reliability, observability, and cost efficiency
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills
Ability to develop and socialize long‑range roadmaps and investment cases tied to developer productivity and business goals
