They are seeking a Gameplay Animation Intern to create animations for the Fortnite Events Team, working closely with mentors to enhance animation skills and contribute to the storytelling of the Fortnite universe.

Responsibilities
Create character-specific animations directly in Unreal Engine using our in-house rigs and tools for Fortnite Events
Work closely with a mentor to improve your own animation skills and help build a strong work ethic
Collaborate with other artists & designers to create assets conforming to the visual design and style of Fortnite
Help develop new features and processes within the animation team
Consistently meet project deadlines on time, while keeping artistic integrity intact
Qualification
Required
An animation reel showing exceptional key-framed character and creature animations with facial animation included
Proficiency with animation software and tools such as Blender, Maya, Unreal, or similar
Experience creating realistic and stylized motions
Proactively collaborates with teammates to solve creative and technical challenges
Preferred
Experience with Unreal Engine animation and sequencer
Experience creating narrative animations, and mocap cleanup
