Marketing and Events Support Specialist
Mentoring Alliance is a nonprofit religious organization committed to providing support to kids and families through various programs. The Marketing and Events Support Specialist will manage marketing and event projects, ensuring effective execution from start to finish while developing creative content and implementing project deliverables.

Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and manages all marketing and event projects -- building timelines in Asana, coordinating teams and meetings, and ensuring projects are completed on time and with excellence
Improves and manages systems for project documentation, budgeting, vendors, and payments while preparing and distributing marketing and event materials
Tracks analytics across marketing activities, including but not limited to social media, web, mass email, TV, and other community marketing and advertising
Supports media relations by drafting press releases, talking points, and PR content, while also providing copywriting for a wide range of marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Canva, Adobe, and/or Photoshop required
Proven creative and critical thinking (problem-solving) skills that leverage both quantitative data analytics and qualitative design and tools
Proven ability to self-start, work independently, and lead projects and people
Proven ability to build and deliver impactful, visual presentations
Proven ability to set and meet deadlines
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple departments. Organized and can handle multiple projects concurrently
Must be flexible, showing meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate across regions at all levels within the organization
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, and possess dexterity for tasks like typing
Approximately 10-15% Travel each year. This position requires flexibility to travel, including nights and weekends if needed
Must possess a valid Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position
