RAI Implementation Engineer - Senior
Spear AI is a growing defense contracting company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that support our nation's security. The RAI Implementation Engineer will lead the implementation of Responsible AI frameworks and practices across AI/ML systems, ensuring ethical AI deployment and compliance with emerging AI governance standards.

Responsibilities
Design and implement RAI frameworks for bias detection, fairness, and explainability
Develop automated testing pipelines for AI model validation and monitoring
Create governance processes for AI model lifecycle management
Implement model interpretability and explainability solutions
Establish metrics and monitoring systems for RAI compliance
Lead cross-functional teams in RAI best practices adoption
Develop training materials and documentation for RAI implementation
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on AI regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with focus on responsible AI practices
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
Expertise in fairness metrics, bias detection, and model interpretability techniques
Experience with RAI frameworks (Fairlearn, AI Fairness 360, What-If Tool, etc.)
Strong understanding of AI ethics, governance, and regulatory landscape
Proven track record of leading technical implementations and cross-functional initiatives
Preferred
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
AWS experience highly preferred but not required
Military experience strongly preferred
