Responsibilities
Build, design and maintain high-quality, scalable full-stack applications using React, Next JS, TypeScript, Java, Node JS and modern frameworks
Leverage AI-powered tools like Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Perplexity or similar technologies to streamline development, enhance user experiences, and deliver innovative solutions at scale
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to bring ideas to life across Backcountry, Competitive Cyclist, MotoSport, and SteepandCheap
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that’s easy to maintain and expand
Advocate for simple, scalable solutions by understanding business problems deeply
Proactively identify technical improvements and recommend architectural enhancements
Lead by example in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and driving best practices
Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle - requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
Monitor systems in production and provide day-to-day support, ensuring stability and performance
Occasionally lead a small squad of 2-3 engineers from planning to execution
Qualification
Required
Senior-level full-stack development experience with expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Java and Node JS
Strong knowledge of modern web development concepts, design patterns, and architecture
Experience with AI technologies like Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar tools to support full-stack development and user engagement strategies
Experience in cloud environments (GCP/AWS) and with CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Passion for clean code, unit testing, and performance optimization
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience with AI technologies like Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar tools to support full-stack development and user engagement strategies
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices
