Responsibilities

Leads, coaches, and develops a high performing team of learning and performance enablement professionals to produce written and visual digital collaterals in support of operational policy, procedures, education, training, and performance support needs
Identifies productivity, safety, and quality standards across the shared services function to enable learning in the workflow, and performance support to drive consistency in best practice and performance results
Oversees shared services operational policies, standardized operating procedures, and regulatory training requirements to ensure colleague compliance and competencies, with ongoing leadership communications on changes and updates
Defines, develops, and delivers new hire onboarding orientations and High Performing Team Leader onboarding, and Associate Director development program to engage, equip, retain, and grow talent in the shared services space
Partners with IT&S Learning Solutions Center to consult on design, development, and delivery of applications, systems, and tools trainings in scope (SMART, Lawson APWF, Manhattan WM, ServiceCentral, PowerBI Dashboards, TeleTracking, etc)
Establishes content taxonomy, methodology, and enterprise knowledge bank to drive digital transformation efforts for integrated generative AI readiness and speed to colleague productivity, performance, change adoption, and meaningful digital learning experiences in the workflow
Manages centralized online Intranet site (SharePoint) and HealthStream portfolio of new hire learning plans, curricula, courses, assignments and attestations
Collaborates with corporate, division, and facility leaders and stakeholders to align on annual strategic goals, shared communications, and strategic initiatives designed to optimize performance and service excellence
Utilizes KPI, performance management, and qualitative data to analyze and measure performance results and target performance improvement opportunities
Participates in corporate and division budget planning, and aligns the performance enablement and improvement department budget accordingly
Ensures the delivery of accurate and consistent management reporting to accelerate decision making, and identify gaps in performance compliance or competencies
Publishes HCA Annual Report and a quarterly Supply Chain Today magazine to share enterprise and division initiatives, innovations in flight, and recognize colleagues for outstanding contributions
Produces the annual HCA Day event at HealthTrust University including the coordination of communications, registration, agenda, speakers, A/V and media, logistics, and feedback evaluations
Activates the HealthTrust Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in response to disasters or emergencies, and staffs the EOC Communications function
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree – Required
10+ years Strong Education and eLearning background, including large scale system training implementation, instructional design, graphic design, and e-Learning development experience. - Required
Minimum 5 years management experience; education management experience managing multiple education initiatives to successful completion, preferably in healthcare, financial services, hospital operations, clinical, supply chain, or information systems-oriented environments. – Required
Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred

Master's Degree in Education, Informatics, Healthcare or related field. – Preferred
Well versed in GPO Operations and Supply Chain clinical and non-clinical operational workflows, touch points, systems/applications, job roles, and strategic initiatives to anticipate learning needs and change strategies to achieve desired results. – Preferred
Experience with large-scale education methodologies and matrix organizational structures – Preferred
Strong systems knowledge to translate functionality into quality learning assets – Preferred
DDI Certified Facilitator or similar certification – Preferred
