Responsibilities
Advise private equity and hedge funds on ERISA compliance for fund formation and complex transactions
Work directly with clients on credit agreements, structured finance products, and alternative investments
Draft comment letters on proposed DOL regulations that will shape the industry
Provide real-time ERISA counsel on live deals—your analysis drives whether transactions move forward
Build expertise across private funds, financial products, and plan sponsor matters (not just one narrow lane)
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience (ERISA background helpful but not required—they'll train analytical thinkers)
Exceptional writing and analytical skills (you'll be drafting client memos and regulatory comments, not just reviewing forms)
Meticulous attention to detail without losing sight of business objectives
JD from 2021-2024; strong academic credentials
Bar admission in DC or Illinois (or ability to waive in)
