Regional Director, Client Acquisition Team
Dimensional Fund Advisors is a company focused on investment solutions, and they are seeking a Regional Director for their Client Acquisition Team. Responsibilities
Sales leadership and management of a national prospect territory composed primarily of RIA financial advisors
Develops new advisor relationships
Consults with advisors on building an efficient practice while providing a successful investment experience to clients
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike
Presents Dimensional Fund Advisors’ investment capabilities, investment theory and performance to Financial Advisors, branch offices, company conferences and industry functions
Formulates and executes tailored Dimensional initiatives and champions existing company initiatives
Be a team-player and sales and marketing thought leader within the Dimensional team
Be a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace
Increase revenues, AUM and Advisor clients within the territory through the profitable growth of Dimensional’s product suite
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA, CFA or CFP preferred. Also Series 24 is a plus
A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy and business strategy
Demonstrated track-record of building Advisor relationships and growing a territory
Extensive knowledge and network of RIA Financial Advisors who may share a similar investment philosophy to Dimensional or with enough intellectual curiosity to want to learn more about it
An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner
Ability to present Dimensional's products and philosophy to small and large groups
Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team
Results-oriented but highly collaborative
Ability to work successfully in teams as well as operate on your own merit
Some travel will be required at specific industry events
SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required; SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
