Responsibilities

Lead the development and management of annual operating budgets and forecasts

Oversee grant financial administration, including compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements

Review all new grant agreements and flag necessary issues for senior management prior to contract execution

Train new project managers on grant accounting practices and compliance matters

Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards

Manage audit processes and support NICRA preparation

Mentor and supervise the Budget Associate fostering professional growth and collaboration

Enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy

Perform routine financial analysis as requested by the CFO or Managing Director

Business owner for NACo Financial Planning and Analysis system
