Responsibilities

Assist customers with resolving technical problems

Provide support for customers personal devices

Provide on-site assistance in the imaging, installation, maintenance and operation of personal computer systems for users

Assist system administrators and network operations personnel concerning Local Area Network (LAN) troubleshooting

Perform system administration tasks for tracking of all computer related equipment

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical support, assisting in evaluating device system or operational issues, and performing system administration tasks

Specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience which demonstrates each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management

Ability to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance

Satisfactorily complete the Security Plus certification within 6 months of employment and maintain the required certification/recertification

Moderate to heavy lifting up to 40 pounds is required
