Responsibilities

Assisting attorneys with drafting and cite-checking legal documents to include pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery
Online case research and project analysis and extensive use of client litigation management systems
E-filing large documents in federal and state court
Assisting attorneys with discovery phase to include expert witness research and summarizing depositions

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree/Paralegal Certificate preferred with three to five years related experience in a mid or large-sized law firm
Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills
Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a client service focus
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Requires strong working knowledge of the rules of evidence and trial procedure, strong communication, people and database skills, and proficiency in IPRO and/or Summation
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving circumstances, work at a rapid pace, collaborate in teams, and work long hours throughout the duration of the trial
