Responsibilities
Perform, interpret, and approve laboratory homogeneity testing on control product
Proofread documents, labels, and assay sheets
Troubleshoot the bottling and QC instruments when necessary
Perform manual testing on controls
Perform sign out of bulk tested and bottled product
Perform and write instrument validations and procedures
Participate in training new employees
Propose and implement process improvements
Work with other departments at all stages of the manufacturing process
Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance with the job
Qualification
Required
Position requires an MLT/MLS degree, bachelor's degree in biology, or related field of study with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and clinical test methods
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and practices
Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance
Skills in moderate problem solving; ability to identify problems and appropriately suggest a course of action
Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects
Ability to plan, organize, and multitask to complete assignments in an efficient manner
Ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written
Ability to perform at a high-level accuracy
Ability to consistently demonstrate quality requirements in daily work
Established knowledge of multiple processes and/or products
Ability to work hours that conform to standard business operations (9:30a-6p, No Holidays)
Attention to detail, organization, and data analysis skills are required
Collaborate on projects of moderate complexity
Data entry skills
