Responsibilities

The primary objectives of this role are to generate new organic business and maintain the renewal book of business for our agency
Includes managing a renewal book of business, identifying cross sell opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships
Continuously monitor renewal retention rates to ensure that we are retaining our business and addressing any potential issues proactively
The Producer will possess strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to building and fostering relationships with clients and partners
Collaborate with our banking partners, mortgage department, and retail branches to identify cross-selling opportunities and foster mutually beneficial relationships. Foster and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with these partners
Maintain a robust pipeline of new business, attend networking events, and work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve targeted goals. Conduct cold calls, follow up on leads, and pursue referrals to build the client base
Responsible for handling the rating, quoting, and proposing of new business opportunities, manage payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in our agency management system. Explain the various insurance products to customers
Address customers concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally
Conducts regular reviews of customers insurance needs to ensure adequate coverage and offer policy and product recommendations
Collaboration with both our internal and external service and support staff. By working closely together, we can ensure seamless workflow management and drive efficiencies across all processes
Regular attendance is essential to this position
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested
Attend networking events and engage in community activities to enhance the agency’s visibility and attract new clients
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, industry professionals and banking partners
Attend meetings and training sessions with carrier representatives and vendors
Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to develop strategies and reach targeted sales goals
Provide input on sales strategies and market trends to help shape the agency's growth initiatives
Attend regular sales meetings and agency events
Collect payments from customers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
Obtain necessary signatures and ensure all required documents are completed and filed properly
Work with the Quality Control Manager including internal service and support staff to ensure all documentation is completed accurately including signed documents and collecting minimum payments. All signed documents meet the agency’s standards
Ensure that the agency management system (Applied) is updated with the most recent and accurate client information
Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
Act as a liaison between clients and various agency departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving
Always represent the agency with the highest level of professionalism
Uphold the agency's values and commitment to exceptional client service in every interaction
Maintain an active insurance license and stay informed about industry regulations and updates

Required

Ability to work in the Woburn, MA offices
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance industry
Property & Casualty license required
Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to prospect, market, sell and close a sale
Ability to build strong client and insurance company relationships
Attention to detail with the ability to think strategically
Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and follow through skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Agency Management Software, Insurance Rating Software, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet
Mass Property & Casualty Insurance License required
Regular attendance is essential to this position
