Responsibilities
Supervise a team of (6-10+) quality engineers and managing consultants as needed, ensuring the delivery of outstanding work
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members
Collaborate with teams from different departments to improve team efficiency
Participate in cross-functional design reviews to ensure quality standards
Coordinate and supervise the creation of team deliverables
Escalate risks and resolve issues to facilitate team delivery
Implement initiatives to achieve zero defects
Develop and review test plans, incorporating positive and negative test cases
Drive automated testing and system-level test development
Track metrics to supervise performance and quality
Perform resource capacity planning and project estimate creation in collaboration with the PMO Lead
Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance
Utilize product and industry knowledge to enhance results and propose innovative solutions

Qualification
Required
A minimum of 10+ years working in software quality assurance or quality engineering
At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within a QA team
Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting
Knowledge of database management and SQL
Proven track record of leading and managing QA teams
Ability to mentor and develop team members
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management
Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Ability to communicate to both technical and executive audiences
Experienced in Vendor Management and work with Global team(s)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
Preferred
Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
Certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester)
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) can be an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred
