Responsibilities
You will promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
You will complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and plumbing as it relates to the building, additional duties as assigned to support Operations and facility
You will develop and maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility
You will track and facilitate department inventory
You will move objects weighing up to 50lbs with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above the head, along with pushing and pulling wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds
You may be scheduled to work shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
Two or more years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
Two or more years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment
Ability to work in distribution environments that may be noisy and potentially work on roof top equipment in extreme temperatures
One or more years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
One or more years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
Able to work with others as well as work independently, you will be expected to be a self-starter
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload
Understanding and knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information
Background or experience in conveyor and forklift operation and repair

Preferred
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
Two or more years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
Project Management experience
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
Basic HVAC knowledge a plus
