Responsibilities
Own sensor debug activities: hypothesis generation, root-cause analysis, experiments, data analysis and debug meetings
Support sensor validation and product validation activities
Support test development for both production and engineering needs
Support procurement of new lab equipment
Provide feedback to support project strategic decisions
Support customer requests
Qualification
Required
MS or PhD in Mechanical / Civil / Electronics Engineering or Physics, including relevant academic or professional experience
6+ years experience with fundamental knowledge of MEMS sensor technologies, with focus on accelerometers and gyroscopes
Experience in characterization of MEMS or other comparable physical sensors
Knowledge of lab equipment for electronic devices
Practical knowledge of C++/#, Python or Matlab programming languages
Proficient in data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysis
Passionate about hands-on experiments and troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork skills
Preferred
Familiarity with failure analysis techniques is a plus
