Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Manager to support the development, integration, test, and evaluation of Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) solutions. The role involves providing project management and systems engineering support, as well as interaction with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Provide project management for development and implementation of Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) solutions

Provide systems engineering support and guidance for HWIL projects

Use Systems Modeling Language (SysML) to develop standard systems models and diagrams

Interaction with customers and vendors will be required

Develops and applies advanced methods in the investigation and finds solutions of difficult military system design requirements and problems

Plans, conducts, and directs projects including coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical staff in the performance of assigned tasks

Evaluates system capabilities. Reviews completion of work including system enhancements

Position requires comprehensive knowledge to resolve complex problems and provide solutions

Required

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related engineering or science field and at least 5 years of relevant experience

Must have demonstrated experience managing a project, leading a team, and interfacing with customers and suppliers

Must have demonstrated experience with standard industry systems modeling tools (e.g., Cameo, Systems Architect), specifically the ability to create structural, logical, and functional digital models to increasing levels of detail

Must have demonstrated experience with requirements management, specifically the ability to write, decompose, and verify system, subsystem, and component requirements

Must be familiar and have experience with using reference architectures in the development of system models

Must be knowledgeable and have experience in the domain of digital transformation, specifically the areas of digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, digital twins, and digital threads

Must have knowledge of industry practices. Ability to lead and train others

Must have the ability to communicate technical information in an understanding manner

Must have excellent skills in Customer and Team Communication and Collaboration

Must be able to multitask multiple parallel efforts

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
