Responsibilities
Working with Sales and Account Managers to meet customer expectations
Communicating with building owners, contractors, and field support staff
Reviewing sales scopes and understanding mechanical drawings
Participating in turnover meetings to assess sales estimates and project layouts
Selecting cost-effective products and installation methods
Preparing design documents, including system layouts and electrical drawings
Providing technical support to installation teams
Designing network architecture for operator workstations and controllers
Developing HVAC equipment operation sequences
Managing the ordering of products and equipment
Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure proper system installation
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of technical education and relevant field experience
Strong computer skills and electrical troubleshooting experience are required
Solid understanding of HVAC and IT systems
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Candidates must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; flexibility to adapt to change
Ability to collaborate effectively, especially in stressful situations
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities include creating operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals
Effective communication in visual, oral, and written formats
Ability to manage stress and maintain a cooperative demeanor with customers
Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
Preferred
Preferred experience with Building Automation Systems and familiarity with LON and BACnet protocols
Knowledge of the industry is a plus
