Start in 2026 SummerD.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is currently looking for an Accounting Intern. The intern will assist the Accounting Managers and support staff with the management of all functions of the accounting department and learn about the company's operations and policies.

The intern will also be encouraged to explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of the company; vision both within and outside of the assigned department that will be supplemental to the learning experience
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Ability to work overtime
Ability to travel overnight
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university and seeking a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to work overtime
