Responsibilities

Perform heating/cooling load calculations
Design HVAC systems, including hydronic and air-side systems
Create control diagrams and prepare sequences of operations
Develop heat load analysis models and flow models
Oversee all phases of HVAC projects from concept to implementation
Prepare and review technical design criteria and specifications
Conduct tests on HVAC systems
Analyze and test prototypes and revisions of HVAC systems
Monitor and evaluate system performance using specialized software
Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for HVAC systems
Ensure compliance with building codes and standards such as the International Building Code
Provide recommendations for system improvements or repairs
Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment and materials

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
