Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of the proposal process and timelines, ensuring accountability for all stakeholders

Leads the draft response document and draft estimate creation efforts and collaborates with the pursuit team to ensure accuracy of inputs

Partners with technical, sales, and field services teams to secure input from all stakeholders

Optimize scope to address client needs and ensure our response is clear and compelling

Maintain company-wide consistency for proposals, templates, corporate guidelines, and other standards and industry best practices

Prepare proposal development plan (PDP), manage assignments, manage communication, and overall organization of the proposal response

Manage/facilitate subcontractor elements of a proposal, if needed

Responsible for the integrity of CRM data for opportunities in the development stage

Lead internal opportunity-specific meetings

Participate in the development of new processes, efficiency tools, and databases at the team and company level

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, structural, mechanical, or civil) or a technical field related to power or renewables

1-5 years of experience in proposals or project management in the power or renewables market

Strong business acumen: project management, proposals, and consulting engineering

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and external stakeholders

Client-centric oriented behavior

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent people skills with the ability to develop and foster lasting relationships

Proficient in computer skills, utilizing Microsoft software programs and add-ins
