Dynamics 365 Developer

The Dynamics 365 Developer will design, build, and support applications to enhance the experience of students, faculty, and staff, while collaborating across IT teams to deliver innovative solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform stack.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within Dynamics 365 using plugins, JavaScript, workflows, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps
Configure and extend Dataverse entities, forms, dashboards, and security roles to support business and academic needs
Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise applications (student information systems, learning management systems, HR, finance, etc.) to streamline data and processes
Partner with business analysts, faculty, and administrative staff to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
Maintain and optimize existing Dynamics 365 configurations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security
Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to IT colleagues and campus stakeholders
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements following best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
3–5 years of professional experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
Proficiency with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
Experience building workflows, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors
Familiarity with Dataverse, Azure services, and SQL Server
Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills for working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience integrating enterprise applications in higher education a plus
Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or MB-300/MB-500 strongly preferred
