Business Development Representative Engineer

The role combines technical expertise and strategic business acumen to drive growth and innovation, focusing on client engagement, proposal development, and market strategy execution.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand national and international market reach
Build and maintain client relationships through on-site visits, trade shows, and technical discussions
Partner with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored aerodynamic testing solutions
Utilize CAD software and interpret complex technical specifications to support proposal development
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify growth opportunities
Serve as a technical and commercial liaison between clients and internal teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in wind tunnel model design, testing, or manufacturing (exposure to all three preferred)
Proven success in business development or technical sales within aerospace or defense industries
Solid understanding of aerodynamic principles and engineering processes
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience in DoD secure or proprietary environments handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
