Monarch Landscape Companies is a family of successful landscape brands in eight states across the United States. The Spray Technician is responsible for the successful prevention and/or treatment of pest and disease presence on commercial landscape.

Responsibilities

Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment

Calculate product and carrier quantities

Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment

Safe Handling and use of all chemicals

Properly complete required paperwork

Qualification

Commercial pesticide experiencePesticide LicenseCustomer serviceMicrosoft ExcelOrganizational skillsBilingual English/SpanishEffective communicationProblem-solving

Required

At least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience

As required by state and federal law

Valid driver license issued by the state where employed

Strong sense of customer service and urgency

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Organizational Skills

Flexibility

Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Effective oral and written communication

Ability to read, write and comprehend English

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format

Preferred

Pesticide License issued by the state where employed

Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
