Responsibilities
Engage with senior engineers and design professionals for guidance and training
Learn the mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) aspects that go into making a building functional and safe
Learn and apply the software tools that aide in design and drawing production
Model mechanical systems in buildings using our design tools including Revit, loads software Trane TRACE, manufacturer’s online sizing tools for equipment, and more
Interact with design professionals in other building design disciplines
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in mechanical or architectural engineering and have an interest in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design
Ability to work in our Roseville, MN office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have completed two years of study towards a mechanical engineering degree
Preferred
Eagerness to learn
Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
