Responsibilities
Develops, designs, installs and maintains clinical documentation, imaging and reporting systems across the organization
Serves as a direct liaison with users, operations personnel and trainers
Resolves all support and maintenance activities within the assigned area
Responsibilities are driven by Imaging Informatics mission and can range from hardware support to clinical applications maintenance to QC activities related to data integrity as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Five (5) years of clinical informatics or PACS administration experience
Prior experience should include database management, project coordination and general administration
Work experience and proof of related continuing education/training courses/technical seminars may substitute for education requirement
Experience as a technical administrator for EMR, PACS, and dictation systems in a clinical setting preferred
Experience with data reconciliation, applications testing and end user training preferred
One (1) year exposure to programming environment performing software development and testing preferred
Must be self-directed / self-motivated
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
Must be able to accept responsibility for the direction, control and planning of one's own work
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality
Must be able to convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress and/or grief

Preferred
