Responsibilities
Design and animate motion systems for campaigns, trailers, social content, and in-product experiences
Develop dynamic sequences that express story, emotion, and character through timing, rhythm, and visual flow
Craft 2D and 3D motion graphics that reinforce the Roblox brand and enhance narrative storytelling
Establish and evolve motion guidelines, templates, and toolkits that scale across multiple channels and surfaces
Collaborate closely with designers, editors, producers, and engineers to ensure motion supports both creative vision and usability
Composite and finish renders for final delivery, optimizing for broadcast, social, and digital platforms
Provide direction and feedback to teammates, helping elevate motion craft across the studio
Iterate quickly based on feedback from creative leads, ensuring alignment with brand and project goals
Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and versioning for smooth team handoff
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or post-production, with both marketing and product-facing work
A portfolio showcasing expressive motion design across campaigns, brand storytelling, and product experiences
A Deep understanding of animation fundamentals including timing, spacing, anticipation, and composition
Strong design sensibility with mastery of typography, layout, color, and visual rhythm
Expert proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop, with experience integrating 3D elements from Cinema4D, Blender, or Maya
Strong compositing and finishing skills including cleanup, color correction, and integration of render passes
Experience developing or maintaining motion systems or design toolkits
The ability to adapt quickly to feedback and iterate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
A cinematic eye for storytelling and brand consistency
