Commercial Relationship Manager
The Agency is a fast-growing community bank based in Houston, dedicated to serving local businesses. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial relationships, focusing on loan and deposit growth while actively engaging with the Houston business community.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial clients within the Houston area, focusing on both loan and deposit growth
Source, structure, and close new CRE and/or C&I loans
Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, community involvement, and client referrals
Deliver an exceptional client experience through ongoing relationship management, financial insight, and tailored banking solutions
Collaborate with internal credit, operations, and treasury teams to ensure smooth onboarding and portfolio management
Maintain a strong presence in the local business community through active participation in professional and civic organizations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in commercial banking with a focus on relationship management
Proven track record of originating and managing CRE and/or C&I relationships
Demonstrated success in deposit growth and business development
Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Deep ties to the Houston business community and a passion for community banking

Formal credit training or strong credit underwriting background preferred
