Senior Associate - Federal Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Support the production and accuracy of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes
Conduct audit support and remediation activities, including data reconciliation, internal control assessments, and the development of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
Assist in the modernization of financial management capabilities through process reengineering, adoption of emerging technologies, and system development
Ensure compliance with applicable DoD and federal financial policies, directives, and standards including GAAP, SFFAS, FFMIA, and FMFIA
Facilitate cross-functional coordination, communication, and collaboration with stakeholders across finance, audit, and technology teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
7+ years of federal financial management experience
3+ years of federal accounting experience

Preferred

Familiarity with Federal audit processes and procedures is strongly desired
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
